Summary
Defined in Riveros et al., “Diffusion-Based Synthetic Data Pretraining for Enhancing Activity Recognition” (arXiv 2610.02292, 2026-10-01). Authors start from a Daily Living Activities Dataset (90 participants, 13 activities, Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 wrist IMU) and relabel into DEO: drinking + eating from the dominant hand; other = all non-alimentary activities from the opposite hand.
