• Single-Beat Cuffless Blood Pressure Estimation Using Ear-PPG and ECG with a Lightweight Hybrid Learning Framework

  This study estimates blood pressure from single heartbeats using ear PPG and ECG. A 1D CNN turns each PPG beat into a 64-number embedding, which is combined with 30 physiological features such as pulse transit time and HRV and fed to LightGBM. Tested on a 10-person stress protocol and PulseDB, it reached MAEs of 4.02 mmHg systolic and 1.79 mmHg diastolic, 28.2% better than baselines.
