Hilo, formerly Aktiia, makes a wrist band that estimates blood pressure from optical PPG using pulse-wave analysis. In a Scientific Reports validation with 91 patients over four weeks, after calibration on day one, mean systolic differences from auscultation ranged from -3.02 to 0.46 mmHg across sitting, lying, lap and standing positions. The authors found it accurate across common positions, though precision varied between them.
