This Scientific Reports paper estimates blood pressure from PPG with a hybrid network that combines CNN layers, bidirectional LSTM layers and attention. It was validated on 2,064 patients from the MIMIC-II database and reached mean absolute errors of 1.88 mmHg systolic and 1.34 mmHg diastolic in 5-fold cross-validation.
