TL;DR

Meeting abstract. The retrievable text (OpenAlex) states the motivation and aim only: BP information lives in subtle pulse-wave morphology that rhythm-oriented and generic self-supervised encoders discard, so the authors test whether a BP-supervised PPG representation gives passive wrist PPG real diastolic-BP screening ability, with held-out validation. Results, cohort, reference BP and split type were not in the retrievable text; do not infer numbers.

Abstract

Cuffless wrist-PPG blood-pressure (BP) screening is appealing because the watch collects the signal passively and continuously. BP information lives in subtle pulse-wave morphology that rhythm and generic self-supervised encoders discard. We tested whether a BP-supervised PPG representation gives passive wrist PPG genuine diastolic-BP screening ability, with held-out validation.
