Original description
Code accompanying ECG-SDI: Single-lead Electrocardiogram Enables Continuous Sleep Depth Index Profiling and Scalable Digital Biomarkers for Sleep Health.
ECG-SDI reuses a pretrained single-lead ECG sleep-staging backbone to estimate continuous sleep depth and REM probability. This repository contains the public-cohort workflow: ECG preprocessing, backbone pretraining, SDI adaptation and evaluation, digital biomarkers, arousal analysis, sleep-phenotype clustering, survival analysis, and research figures.
No participant data, pretrained weights, or BZ-CPAP-specific code are distributed. Public-cohort analyses require separately obtained SHHS, MESA, MrOS, or CFS data. Synthetic examples can run without those data or any supplied weights. Model architecture, losses, and research calculations are preserved; see implementation notes for the original behavior and differences from the manuscript.
