TL;DR

Biegański and colleagues replace the study-specific smoothing coefficients of classic actigraphy sleep/wake scorers with one low-pass filter, then compare it with Cole-Kripke, Sazonov, Scripps, UCSD, and Webster on 1,635 overnight actigraphy–PSG recordings from three datasets. Dataset 1 is the Warsaw collection, and the paper says it is freely available at doi:10.58132/DCQYO1 (PSGWatch). Scientific Reports 16, article 17878 (17 April 2026), CC BY 4.0. Replication code is available from the first author until a GPL-3 package is released.
